New Season 2012-13 information
Our U16 Girls section is for children aged 15 or under on 31 August 2012, or an easier way of describing it, is children in years 10 and 11 at school.
TEAMS
We have one U16 girls team which is entered into the home counties league and into the National Cup.
TRAINING
Training is on:Sunday morning 11.15am – 12.45pm & Wednesday evenings 7-8.30pm at the Ladies club training session.
Over the first few weeks, we will be assessing all the players in this age group and a few girls will be invited to the U16 boys training on a Thursday evening.
Players will only be selected for games if they attend training.
COACHES
Coach of the U16 Girls Squad this season is Dave Rodway.
MATCHES
Matches in the Home Counties League are below. Cup matches are not usually included in this list. Dates allocated in the Hockey Centralised Calender for U16 cup are as follows: 21 Oct, 11 Nov, 25 Nov, 10 Feb, 3 Mar.
LADIES CLUB MATCHES
Some of the girls are already playing in the adult section of the club. If you are not, and are interested, you need to be available to attend Wednesday training and available on Saturdays for the games. If you are interested please let me know. (Note: There are additional fees for playing in the adult section of the club.)
