Under 12s Section
The Under 12s section is for children under 12 at 1st Sept 2012 and spans two school years, year 6 and 7.
In this section we have three training groups, the Whites and the Reds. The Whites is the most advanced group and is coached by Martin Foxall and Magda Charalambous. The Reds are the intermediate group coached by Rob Burrows and Charles Philpott and the Purple Group are the development group coached by Keith Cooper and Ellie Dagley.
There have entered teams into the U12 Herts Mixed leagues. The White group girls play in the A league and the Red group play in the B league. We try to take more than 1 team to matches. For the B league these are development games and we will get as many players involved as possible. Some weeks if we have too many players available, we will rest players and then rest others on other weeks. The league website is at http://hertsjuniorhockeyleague.moonfruit.com/
We also enter the County Mini Championships, for U12 Boys and U12 Girls and various tournaments before and after. These are performance matches and selection is on a performance basis.
