Our Ladies 1s have dramatically managed to stay in the National League after successfully winning their relegation playoff group by one goal. Three incredibly tense matches have left Southgate as the sole survivors from the group of death. A huge debt of thanks goes to Wakefield who in spite of having nothing to play for managed to hold Cannock to a 1-0 defeat which meant that Southgate survive on account of their 2-0 win at Wakefield two weeks ago. Congratulations Ladies. A really tough season but with a nice cherry on top!!
